Meu nome é David A. Bailey, Jr. Sou professor de inglês em Imperatriz, Maranhão em Brasil. Morei aqui várias vezes desde de dois anos de idade.

Acabei voltando alguns anos atrás…e bem..o resto como eles dizem é apenas história. =-)

Tem um ditado por aqui que diz que quem bebe do Rio Tocantins sempre volta. E no meu caso parece ter sido verdade.

Depois de lecionar em algumas escolas aqui na região…finalmente decide montar a minha propria escola…a Escola de Inglês OK.

E ainda estamos por aqui nos divertindo.

Acho que me frustrei com os métodos antigos e tecnicas de sala de aula que não funcionavam. Então montei a OK com a intenção de testar todos os métodos e descobrir o que funcionava…e o que não funcionava…e juntar o melhor de tudo para ajudar os meus alunos aprenderem inglês o mais rápido possível.

Hey Boys and Girls…

My name is David A. Bailey, Jr. I am an English teacher in Imperatriz, Maranhão down in north-central Brazil. I lived in Brazil off and on since I was about two years old.

I ended up coming down for a visit several years ago…and well…the rest as they say is just history. =-)

There is a saying around here that once you drink from the Tocantins River you always come back. So, I guess in my case it proved to be true.

After teaching in a few schools here in the region…I finally decided to start my own…the OK Language School.

And we are still here…going strong…and having fun.

I basically got fed up with using out-date methodologies and classroom techniques that just didn’t work. So I started OK with the idea of testing all the different methods and seeing what worked…what didn’t…and putting together the best of the best to help my students learn English as fast as possible.
